Description

Tenontosaurus tilleti
Named by John H. Ostrom, 1970
Diet: Herbivore (Low browser)
Type: Ornithopod (Iguanodontia) dinosaur
Size: 21 feet (6.5 meters) long and 1 ton
Region: North America (Montana, Wyoming, Oklahoma, and Texas USA for this species) (Note: Various remains found in Maryland and Idaho were assigned to this genus)
Age: Early Cretaceous (115 to 108 million BC; Late Aptian to Early Albian)
Enemies: (You guessed it) Deinonychus for the juveniles and/or sub-adults as based on the fossil evidence of teeth and a number of skeletons of this theropod found associating with Tenontosaurus; Acrocanthosaurus for adults
Episode: Walking with Dinosaurs: Inside Their World app (vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/w…)
Info: One of the most abundant herbivorous dinosaurs of Early Cretaceous North America judging by the number of remains found (including 25 skeletons and scattered bones and teeth), Tenontosaurus was a primitive iguanodontia with a long tail longer than its body and studies of the fossil sites and ages of where it comes from shows that it could adapt to life in different kinds of environments and changes as at the start of the Albian age, there was arid conditions until as time progressed it steadily grew wetter into a tropical climate featuring river deltas and swamps during the wet seasons to a savannah climate during the dry seasons and these dinosaurs thrived within these changes. It was also one of the many dinosaurs to have a medullary bone tissue found on their femurs and studies of other specimens suggests that Tenontosaurus were able to reproduce before becoming fully-grown.

Note: Based on Gregory S. Paul's work of it. Coloration and of course quills is based on dinoraul's which the app uses.
Updated it again after deleting it for technical reasons

Completed the Cloverly Formation lineup. So much for Acrocanthosaurus, Sauropelta, and even Aquillops.

Also its best to have just Tenontosaurus standing, feeding, and minding its own business, instead of being attacked and tormented by a Deinonychus and/or a pack of them, which, true as it may seem, is kinda cliched (kinda the equivalent of the main title characters of Ed, Edd n Eddy getting attacked, kissed, and tormented by or being with the Kanker Sisters).
