Description

Sarcosuchus imperator
Named by France de Brion and Phillip Taquet, 1966
Diet: Carnivore and Piscivore (Prey included fish such as Lepidotes and the coelacanth Mawsonia; dinosaurs such as the ornithopod Ouranosaurus, sauropods such as Nigersaurus, and perhaps even theropods such as Suchomimus)
Type: Pholidosaurid crocodylomorph
Size: 30 feet (9 meters) long and 9.8 tons
Region: North Africa (Niger) (A related species of the genus was found in Brazil)
Age: Early Cretaceous (118 to 112 million BC; Late Aptian to Early Albian)
Rivals: Theropod dinosaurs such as Suchomimus, Kryptops, and Eocarcharia
Episode: Chased by Dinosaurs - Land of the Giants
Info: Meaning "Emperor Crocodile" and nicknamed 'SuperCroc' (although despite the name and its appearance, it is only a distant relative of modern-day crocodiles), Sarcosuchus was 8 feet longer than today's biggest crocodiles, 10 times heavier, having a 6-foot (1.82 meter) head, a deadly bite-force of 9 tons, and preyed on unweary dinosaurs in a similar hunting method as what modern crocodilians do. Studies of growth rings in its scutes show that it would've taken 60 years to reach full size.

So I am back with my new iPad, for those who don't know, but this time, I'm using a new different app, Procreate, which my younger sister suggests me to do and use and says its better than ArtStudio and I agree because its pretty good! :):D (Big Grin)

The actual coloration is not easy and its hard.

Yes, I know there was the South American species found in Brazil, the reason I choose S. imperator from North Africa, because of its physical appearance, fame, and the fact that there is not that much about S. hartti and not a lot of images of it! Sorry!:( (Sad)

I would be extremely suspicious if Sarco had hunted big game, or the very (very) large theropods such as Suchomimus (I know, Spinosaurid so it had to be weak is the primary rule of the 'masses in these years) - albeit quite nice work as usual, like your artworks
