Robert Burke: Ah, 'Procompsognathus triassicus'! Named in 1913 by Franz Nopcsa! Compies seem to be scavengers like jackals!

Dieter Stark: Is it dangerous?

Robert Burke: Uh.... no! I don't think so!

Dieter Stark: They give me the creeps! Like it's not scared!

Robert Burke: There haven't been any visitors on this island! There's no reason for them to fear man!

(Dieter electrocutes the compy, causing the dinosaur to flee in fear)

Dieter Stark: Now it does!


When I first saw The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997) in theaters when I was 6 and seeing the beginning sequence of the film of the little girl encountering the Compsognathus, I was asked what dinosaur it was and I replied it's a Compsognathus! Then my sister said its cute and asked me if it eats plants, and I replied "No, it eats meat!" Then the compies attacked the little girl. LOL
